Garbage piles up on roads: Has dirty politics let Delhi down?

The 10-day long strike by sanitation workers in east Delhi has finally been called off bringing some respite to residents for whom piling garbage has become a familiar sight. The Delhi High Court ordered municipal corporation to pay their salaries. AAP and BJP blame each other for the mess as 15,000 tonnes of waste remain to be collected from the streets of the national capital.
